Here with you. Pity party, party of 2 (and probably counting).

Yes congratulations are definitely in order.

I did have to send Harvard that annoying disciplinary update, so let me just pretend that's why I wasn't invited to the email party today.

I had a disciplinary issue to disclose as well (although I included it in my application). It was from high school (!). I wonder if that's it.

Also just got a gchat which lit up my email tab and I almost had a heart attack.

Top 1-2% at T14-16. Went ready for review on 6/27 I think.

But Flan - we have to face the fact that we don't come from Tier 1 schools. We should never have gotten our hopes very high for HLS.

Congrats Kindle!

I'm 1-2 percent at a T20!

EDIT: Apologies if this came off as snotty, not intended to be so.

I didn't. Gotta keep perspective. Columbia should call, especially with all these new H admits. Anytime soon would be nice.

I didn't apply thinking I had a realistic shot, but I just couldn't resist the hope! It was too strong!

The odds of your status checker also changing in error are pretty slim, IMO.

KindleNexusfan wrote:bahh. I'm dying from the fear the admit email was an error! 5 admits all at once (and that's just TLS), after 5 PM, by email with no phone calls... other "admits," what was the time stamp on your email? Mine was 5:55. It would be fishy if they are all identical! The only explanation for the email was that they decided it was getting too close to the commit deadline and they wanted to notify admits asap.
They would not send you an error an email. You're good - relax and congratulations!

Also got the email. Top 1% at T35. Status checker changed to Admitted, and my time stamp on the email was 5:17 p.m. I still can't believe it.

Same time stamp... pretty skeptical right now. Was just reading about UCLA admitting 600 undergrads by email by mistake. I wish there office was still open so I could just call and ask.

Mine was 5:18, and they used my first name, and my status checker changed. I think we're OK.

Reposting this since it seems like there were a bunch of exciting admit emails sent out today (Also I'll leave you guys to your 2012 discussion/won't repost again, so if you all start a facebook page and chat about housing, feel free to reference this).

I am a Class of 2013 HLS transfer student, and my roommates and I are looking for a 4th roommate for our 4-bedroom apartment, as our 4th roommate just left us to go to med school. The lease starts 8/1 (this is a huge convenience for EIP, orientation and the like). In Davis Square, where rent is significantly cheaper (and Davis Square is more fun than H Square, and an easy commute to HLS). We live in a well maintained townhouse with a lot of space - big kitchen, separate dining room and living room, and the bedroom is very large - PM me if you are interested and I will give you the details.

Also happy to answer any other HLS Qs that admitted students might have...hope you come to HLS!

Anybody know about last year, if there were some straggling acceptances after the 2nd day of admits?
