Did the backdoor not work for anybody at the beginning of the day and then worked? I am wondering whether they are accepting people in different batches.

Can it be possible they are accepting people in waves? Any one else who applied both and still haven't had program type change to full-time or part-time yet?transfertoT1 wrote:TransferDC wrote:Didn't work at around 11am, just worked half an hour agotransfertoT1 wrote:Did the backdoor not work for anybody at the beginning of the day and then worked? I hope those letters come quickly, because I'm way too neurotic to totally believe the backdoor is 100% sure hahaNebby wrote:Congratulations all!

I still have "Both" on my status page. I am hoping that they are leaving me for last because I applied to both and they are trying to see where they can fit us better.taco the rabbit wrote:Can it be possible they are accepting people in waves? For those who were able to access backdoor, when do you think letters will come in via snail mail? Think they will come by the end of this week? I was wondering if there may be a delay in them being sent or something since "USA" still doesn't show up on status checker like previous years. Hesitating on feeling good about this until letter is in hand lol

Do you think deferrals get emails round the same time?Nebby wrote:I got access to backdoor on a Wednesday and letter arrived Friday.

I don't recall but they take longer on deferrals because they're not as time sensitive, so probably not until next week or the week afterWoodsyAtoll wrote:Do you think deferrals get emails round the same time?Nebby wrote:I got access to backdoor on a Wednesday and letter arrived Friday.

Everyone that did not get access to backdoor Wends were prob going to get deferred. The email will prob come Monday based on last year's thread.

Backdoor confirmed. Got an acceptance email from the dean of admissions, with a formal letter in the mail. Stoked!

Just received the email as well but no formal letter yet via mail. Email states that they're taking "the unusual step of emailing" because we may be facing deadlines.
Edit: They spelled my name way off in the acceptance email, Kind of close based on how its pronounced but way off nonetheless. Emailing them to confirm they meant to send that to me lol
Edit/Update 2: Just got another email confirming that I was indeed accepted and that their server didn't populate the information correctly. *phew*

Same happened to me! The name is completely wrong...different gender and all, totally not my name. So that's a little concerning. I emailed confirmation as well....Elfy wrote:Just received the email as well but no formal letter yet via mail. Lol congrats! I'm sure they did... What are your deposit deadline details? Wondering if it's different for different people.Elfy wrote:Just received the email as well but no formal letter yet via mail. They gave me the option to commit to going without putting down a deposit (subject to misconduct proceedings filed with LSAC if I waive deposit and don't attend). I wonder if this is new? Looking for guidance @Nebby (Yes, I know that is not how this works).
Edit/Update: Just got a second acceptance email. Does this mean I can get two JDs for the price of one????
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
