No info but I'm with you. I've given up all hope bc my stats are on par with lots of admits and I've been complete for well over a week now.
I'm confused too. Based on your two guys' numbers and mine, I'd think we'd get in. But I haven't heard anything either. It's odd.

Yea, you should definitely be in too. Have they not released a wave? Are they waiting on something? I didn't go complete until mid-July but I am complete.

I don't know the exact date, but last year it was around 7/27.

At least there will be closure tomorrow. I'm so sick of this waiting.

I guess. I'm in disbelief if that's true. It's going to be very difficult to justify transferring if I can't do EIP.

Though it's possible they'll admit more ppl after today (perhaps not enough accepted), it's unlikely that those admitted after today will go in a heart beat.

if you're admitted, you can do EIP. if you're late, they'll make an exception. they wouldn't admit a transfer and not let them recruit. that would just hurt the school.

How? Isn't it a lottery system? Wouldn't they have to run the lottery at some point? I'm not doubting your message, just unclear on how it would work.

I just spoke to someone at admissions about EIP, this is what they told me -

Basically if you're admitted past the EIP deadline you do not get to turn in bids. You're put on a type of waitlist where you might be able to be 'added' to firms' schedules, but you won't get to choose the firms. When I asked for more specifics, she said that you can meet with a career counselor and then 'cross that bridge when you get there' to figure out what your options are.

Also I asked what the odds are of getting decisions today and was told it's very slim.

So, I will not be attending there...

That's frustrating. Did they give you any idea why it is taking so long this year?

It'll definitely be hard to justify the transfer. I'll wait and see if I get in but it's really disappointing.

It's not easy getting on the schedule of firms for the NY offices.

Nope - she told me it normally takes two weeks to go over an application. But then I pointed out I've been under review for a month, and she didn't have an explanation. I think they're probably just done taking people but aren't making it official yet until everyone pays their deposits.

Possible however Nebby recently suggested that not that many people have actually been accepted yet, however I may have misunderstood. I also have been complete for almost a month. Who knows, but it is very frustrating.

As of right now there are only 25ish students in the Transfer FB page. I'm surprised it's this low at the moment. Though we only add people once they've accepted their offer.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
