UChicago Transfer Thread 2015 Forum

A forum for those current students who are or may be transferring from one school to another. Post any questions, advice, or other transfer related comments here.

Anonymous Posting

Anonymous posting is only available to the creator of each thread. The anonymous posting feature is intended to permit the solicitation of anonymous advice regarding the transfer application process, chances of being accepted, etc. Unacceptable uses include: testing the feature, questions which are clearly fake or hypothetical in nature, harassing other users, etc. Posters should also read and understand the announcements posted at the top of the Transfers forum prior to using the anonymous feature.

Failure to follow these rules will get you outed, warned, or banned.

Has anybody had their acceptances rescinded for poor 2nd semester performance? How bad is too bad?

I've never heard of it. My gpa went down a bit so I'm a little nervous but I doubt they will

Congrats to all! I was deferred but I fully expected that. My 2nd semester grades are looking good so far. Hopefully I can get admitted through Regular Decision

They make you withdraw all other applications so it would be pretty harsh if they rescinded and then ruined your chances at another school too! I'm worried too since I'm still waiting on 3/5 grades. 2 of them I got A's but I'm not sure how I did in my other classes :?
