I have no statistics to back this up, but I am starting to feel like the first wave may come Friday. The waiting is stressful. Good luck everyone.

Harvard doesn't require your class rank, do they? I assumed that they could roughly estimate your rank based on your GPA/school and would just go from there.
But with it being Harvard, it's just hard for me to feel good about it. Especially since it is completely out of my control. That's the part that frustrates me the most. I worked hard to earn my grades 1L year. I spent time and money on the applications. I made sure all the materials that were available were in. All those things were in my control. This isn't. I'm at the mercy of someone else and it's just hard to accept. Especially since our grades and GPAs have been out for over a month. I just don't get what takes so long with the ranks.
Things in my control don't stress me. Things out of my control do. I just hate being at the mercy of someone else.
Plus Harvard is my #1 choice. I don't expect to get into Yale or Stanford but if I did, I think I'd still choose Harvard. So that's not making it any easier.

Yeah that's why I recommended tea leaf reading and other forms of prognostication. Why accept the uncertainty of the present when you can grasp the future?Traynor Brah wrote:lawman84 wrote:I hope you're right. Tea leaf reading is a great recommendation, but I always felt crystal ball reading was cooler.

Has anyone had a move from Application Ready for Review? Or is everyone still at this?

Application ready for review changes only to "admit" or "decision rendered" (I hope you don't have to ask what decision rendered means).felinafelina wrote:Has anyone had a move from Application Ready for Review? Or is everyone still at this?

Still at "ready for review" from 6/23. Anyone have an earlier status date?

I'm drafting an addendum as we speak to explain this misstep...

I was admitted to UChi today. Is this worth mentioning to HLS admissions?

I did use the word "if" so not really. Not expecting anything with HYS. I think there's a fair chance at both (not a lock or anything) while I feel like Yale is a longshot.lawschool_lurker_12 wrote:Something something .... I think you miss the point. No one cares about the general topic. There's no need to defend your syntax.lawman84 wrote:I did use the word "if" so not really. Not expecting anything with HYS.
