Stanford Transfer Waiting Thread 2013 Forum

A forum for those current students who are or may be transferring from one school to another. Post any questions, advice, or other transfer related comments here.

Anonymous Posting

Anonymous posting is only available to the creator of each thread. The anonymous posting feature is intended to permit the solicitation of anonymous advice regarding the transfer application process, chances of being accepted, etc. Unacceptable uses include: testing the feature, questions which are clearly fake or hypothetical in nature, harassing other users, etc. Posters should also read and understand the announcements posted at the top of the Transfers forum prior to using the anonymous feature.

Failure to follow these rules will get you outed, warned, or banned.

So my status checker just changed to say "A decision letter has been sent."

No phone call though, just this change. Would it stand to reason that they have mailed out dings and it is being sent by postal mail?

Mine also changed, I'm guessing they're the dings in the mail.

Mine also changed, I'm guessing they're the dings in the mail.

Had the same update as of today. If you call, they'll give you your decision. Mine was a ding, FWIW.

Had the same update as of today. If you call, they'll give you your decision. Mine was a ding, FWIW.

Called SLS. If your status checker still says "submitted for review," like mine, you are on hold for spots that may potentially open up by virture of withdrawals or acceptances at YH.

Seems like everyone on TLS (I think it was just 4 or 5 of us) that was admitted is planning to attend.
