Did anyone of you take part in the HLR write-on competition?
I did. Forever <3 Chaidez.
With me, I loved Chaidez--but it was only for a two night stand...
On a more serious note, I thought Justice Kagan did a great job with it.

2 nights? Wow you blasted through it eh?
I think Kagan is brilliant and I agree with the outcome there. However, the reasoning was way off in my view: we breached the chink free wall between collateral and direct consequences in Padilla but refused to embrace that distinction? Those seemed to be mutually exclusive to me? Also, don't you think that it's setting the stage for further expansion of 6th Amendment attorney's duties? Frye already got the ball rolling recently.

I found the case filled with a multiplicity of complexities--legal issues which had yet to be resolved over the course of many years of judicial history. And this is why I think they chose it.

Jealous of that.
Forever you can say you were waitlisted at Harvard. Never dinged. You were that enigmatic.

I second the FB group/tls thread comment. did anyone receive additional emails/information after the acceptance e-mail? do you think we'll be able to get finaid results given the July 15 deadline & an id requirement to fill financial stuff out?

Go on the financial aid website. They have examples of past calculations based on certain incomes. You can use it to estimate how much you'll get.

Hi all,
I'm from the HLS transfer class of 2014. We just created a Facebook group for those accepted and who decide to attend (Harvard Law School Transfer Class of 2015 - quite a mouthful). Message me for more details, if you'd like. Please only join if you've actually accepted/are going to accept your spot at Harvard.

Admitted, got email yesterday and phone call today.
Top 1%, bottom T1 school
I thought I was out of the running because I never completed the dean certification. I was absolutely floored when I got the email.
Congrats everyone!

I'm having trouble finding this, could you steer me to the page with examples?

received the email account information, but for some reason cannot log in to the financial aid services. Also, for some reason I can't find the group on FB.

I can't find the facebook group either. However, you need to do some more stuff after getting e-mail, including the pin. I haven't checked it out yet, but it might be one of those other steps thats tripping you up.

For those of you having difficulty finding the group, it is probably because I made it closed? I'll fiddle with the settings later tonight and see if I can make it easier to find...
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
