i called them a half hour ago and they said their turn around time was a week from when your application was marked "complete". i feel like im being lied to...

Being as though I'm UR 6/28, I find that to be slightly misleading. It would be nice to get an acceptance so I don't have to start GULC's Write-On Competition tomorrow. It would suck to waste time and money on it and not attend.

Perhaps by "a week," they mean approx 5 business days. Considering a lot of adcomma werw out last week, that might be slightly delayed now. For those who were complete more than a week ago, then you're neither an auto-admit nor auto-deny, so they're probably weighing your app against those they received the past 2 weeks.

Being as though I'm UR 6/28, I find that to be slightly misleading. It would be nice to get an acceptance so I don't have to start GULC's Write-On Competition tomorrow. It would suck to waste time and money on it and not attend.

My biggest concern :/

If no other admits by 8 pm tmrw, I'll just have pay the $40 and start GULC's write on though

do we know if theres a deadline by which they HAVE to let us know?

On their site it says that all decisions on apps completed by the 15th should be made by the 15th. So because Sat. and Sun. are the 14th and 15th, I would imagine we would know by Friday.

i mean i sent my app in june 4th or something around there i think. are yu saying someone got in 7/16 last year?

Apps have to be completed by the 15th. If it's completed before then, you should have a decision. I would imagine that the person who got in on the 16th must have gone complete on the 15th. Either that, or they just don't follow their own deadlines.

they've never looked up my personal app because i dont want them to think im stalking my decision so i just give them stats and they give me a ballpark

The status checker says: "Therefore, the review process may take up to twelve weeks from the date of completion before a decision is rendered."

ive asked and that doesnt apply to transfer applications just regular decisions. its only up there because its the same status check for transfer and reg. applicants.
