Check on whether or not you can GET a permit, and whether that actually gets you parking when you show up to campus. I knew one person that drove to school all year, and GW tore down the main garage this summer ... Not sure what that does to availability.

Keep in mind that 66 from the Beltway in is HOV only during rush hrs. I'm sure that adds a huge chunk to your commute if you can only use the Memorial or Key bridges and surface streets.

Congrats (w_c_l2013) on your acceptance! Can you share the time you received it and the subject line of the email? I am also still waiting to hear back. School starts in a few weeks...(ugh)!

Any other transfers in DC yet? I thought people might want to get together at a bar or something before classes start.

Does anyone still need a place to live? Current occupants are 2 girls and 1 guy. The empty room is next to the girls' rooms. So, the person moving in should be a girl. The place is walking distance from Union Station and another metro station. PM me for details.

I've got a somewhat difficult housing problem here. I live in Pennsylvania and will be commuting to GW for school. I am trying to find a room/couch for two nights a week. PM me if you want to talk about some kind of an arrangement. 28 year old male.

sorry if this is somewhere else in this thread, but I didn't see it. Does anyone know when the transfer write-on begins? I hate navigating their website
