A forum for those current students who are or may be transferring from one school to another. Post any questions, advice, or other transfer related comments here.

Anonymous Posting

Anonymous posting is only available to the creator of each thread. The anonymous posting feature is intended to permit the solicitation of anonymous advice regarding the transfer application process, chances of being accepted, etc. Unacceptable uses include: testing the feature, questions which are clearly fake or hypothetical in nature, harassing other users, etc. Posters should also read and understand the announcements posted at the top of the Transfers forum prior to using the anonymous feature.

Failure to follow these rules will get you outed, warned, or banned.

Based on the timelines in this thread, this isn't a hard and fast rule. There have been shorter and longer turnaround times, but it seems there was a big chunk of people who went under review on Tuesday and were accepted Friday.

Not a hard and fast rule; I went UR on 6/15 and DR 6/17. Although one marginal difference between that particular group of offers and the latest batch is that they're making admissions offers via email as opposed to phone call now.

Sounds like most people got the confirmation e-mail around 6pm EST. Is that accurate?

I feel like they've already given out all the acceptances they're willing to give out until they hear back from everyone by July 15th. Thoughts?

For those of you who went through this last year - arrow, for example - any info on how the acceptances were sent out? Was there a big batch in late june, followed by another big batch after the july 15th deadline? Or did they trickle out as they were reviewed?

This is a question that, if answered, should have it's own sticky, as I suspect it's one nearly universal among transfer applicants.
