i stopped by the CLS admissions office today to put in a kind word for a friend who is still waiting, and they said transfers should be finalized this week. however, i'm not sure how that would work for a potential admit, as the EIP lottery was run today.

If CLS just e-mailed rejections like every other school, then us stragglers would probably be chopped by now. It's the mail-trickle that's annoying. And the funny thing is that I think most of us that are waiting don't even live far from CLS.

Got home to see the CLS rejection letter. Now the choice is between NYU and staying.
Tone of the CLS rejection letter was flat out nasty too. At least SLS was nice about it.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought the whole "YOUR PETITION FOR TRANSFER HAS BEEN DENIED" wording was a bit odd.
I'm starting to wonder if anyone who went complete on or after 7/20 had a legitimate shot, because I haven't heard of a single acceptance.

Just accepted @ NYU via UPS package. Under review on 7/17, status-check never changed to decision letter sent.

Yes. The letter was sent to my other (permanent) address last week and was forwarded which is why I only got it yesterday.

Interesting. I'm getting impatient that I haven't heard anything. I have now been complete for almost a month.

You were #1 at a T40, right? Did you get in anywhere else?

I've not tried to log into the admitted students site- I'm at work, my wife called and told me about the package. I got in @ Penn, haven't heard from Columbia, rejected @ Harvard and Yale.

Maybe I'm being overly optimistic... but I feel like there has to be some more CLS acceptances coming.

At least NYU acceptances are still trickling in.... they give me a tiny, tiny bit more hope than CLS.
