This is correct.wafflehausenberg wrote:I don't think the status checker differentiates between "complete" and "under review." I think "ready for review" spans from the time the application is complete to the time a decision is made.

Re: Harvard Transfer Thread 2015
agreed. Looking through last year's thread, it seems like people who got in on Monday after the long weekend got calls & emails w/o the status checker updating from "ready for review." Either way, the first acceptances came in around 1:30-2 and continued through early afternoon.wafflehausenberg wrote:I don't think the status checker differentiates between "complete" and "under review." Someone should call and ask when decisions might be released...someone other than me

Sorry guys, I just meant complete/under review as anything not "incomplete."

Got it. Thanks. I just went on the Harvard Status Checker site and it was down for a few seconds. Either they're updating it or getting a swarm of eager Crimson hopefuls' activity. I'm guessing the latter.DCNTUA wrote:This is correct.wafflehausenberg wrote:I don't think the status checker differentiates between "complete" and "under review." Doubt they're letting people know today: last year they stated letting people know around 12 EST

I caved and called myself. I was told they're hoping to have them all released by the middle of the month but she wasn't sure when they would start releasing them. So basically no new info.

Way to take one for the team. I wouldn't say that today is out of the question yet but it's getting there.

I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve right now. Hopefully, they don't wait too long this week or else I'll be completely unproductive.

There were certainly some post 4 o'clock acceptances in 2013. What could they possibly learn about an applicant at ~4pm on a post-holiday Monday that they didn't know at the start of the business day? I'm holding out hope for a decision today.

In 2012, the first reported decision was on July 6 (a Friday), around 2:10 p.m. (See http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... 5&start=25.) In 2011, it appears there was one wave of acceptances on July 8 (a Friday), and another wave of acceptances on July 11 (a Monday). (See http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... it=harvard.) In 2010, it appears only 13 students were accepted, and in 2009 and 2008, apparently, 0 transfer students were admitted. (See http://www.thecrimson.com/article/2010/ ... rvard-new/.)
Good Stuff. I appreciate it!

Re: Harvard Transfer Thread 2015
Got my class ranking today and it was higher than I expected. Ended up top 1%. Pretty pumped about that. Going to be very interesting to see how my cycle turns out. If I get into Harvard and Stanford, it'll be a tough decision.(I'm assuming that I won't get into Yale)
EDIT: My apologies to anyone who clicked this thread expecting something important.
