Whelp, guess only time will tell, although I did get into some other top choices, so I'm very happy about that.

Seems as though today's updates are meaningless. Hopefully tomorrow they'll update some of our status dates and we'll be able to differentiate.

He had "Apt" changed to "Apartment"
He received deferment. His stats were top 12% at T2.
Reading his post history is like reading a tragedy. He gets deferred, then doesn't hear anything all summer, then he just stops posting.

Re: GULC Transfer 2014
to nebby: BUT, his changed on the day the first guy received an acceptance letter. Those who had their citizenship and address changed prior to that date all were admitted.
His address AND citizenship both changed on April 3, right before his tragedy began.

You're right. USA wasn't added to his until 4/3.purpledrink wrote:to nebby: BUT, his changed on the day the first guy received an acceptance letter. Those who had their citizenship and address changed prior to that date all were admitted.
Didn't notice that.

Soooooooooooo...are we back to the original in that if you had a new update in your address/citizenship you are in (based on last year)?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?CounselorNebby wrote:You're right. Re: GULC Transfer 2014
I had changes too (T1, top 4%).
Apt. to Apartment
Added USA
We all have good statistics. We may have all been accepted, with the exception of the 60% person (virtual hug!), which could be a rejection. Maybe deferrals are emailed, acceptances AND rejections are mailed?

That would actually make sense. If only we could find one person who didn't have an update.

Re: GULC Transfer 2014
Forgot my username on this site, otherwise I would have chimed in sooner. Been following the thread, but haven't posted anything before. Just wanted to say that my address updated, USA added, etc. today, with no update on completed date (3/27). With my numbers, it probably means everyone got the update: top 25% at a top 50. Otherwise, maybe they do take in the soft factors (who knows)
Also, from looking at last year's forum, I got the impression that a number of people who got deferred had their address updated too. The first post on http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... &start=100 pretty much tells it all. All of the people who had a 3/28 update were deferred.
Sorry to be a captain buzzkill. Of course I still hope that we all made the cut.

It looks like today's updates means we will hear from them within the week.
I believe it will be like last year, once we see date chances we will know whose accepted.

Re: GULC Transfer 2014
yeah, people are freaking out cuz this might be the batch similar to the 3/27 group. All 3/27ers got acceptances and all 3/28ers got deferrals.zingiergrub40 wrote:Forgot my username on this site, otherwise I would have chimed in sooner. 3/28ers got their stuff changed WAY later while 3/27ers got their addresses changed on 3/27

Who wants to be a brave soul? Call admissions and find out when they will release transfer acceptances.

This is painful. I actually thought I had gotten in for about 2 hours yesterday.
Counselor Nebby, in all of your research, do you know how a top 10-15% at a t-20 would fair? I know I'm on the lower end number wise but hoping rank will help.

Re: GULC Transfer 2014
For early action your numbers are right on the brink. If you're deferred, your numbers usually gain admittance in regular transfer cycle. I personally think that you'll probably get EA.ucc2207 wrote:This is painful. I actually thought I had gotten in for about 2 hours yesterday.
