Same here still Application Complete. I doubt anything will change until Mid April.

Argh I've been on Application Completed since 2/28! I hope they don't wait till mid-April to put apps Under Review -- I was under the impression that the first round of acceptances start to go out in mid-April.

At least you're complete. It's been 14 days and I'm still on "Application Received." I thought I'd only take a little more than a week. (I'm pretty sure I didn't forget anything in my application...) It seems like they're just taking it slow because of the lack of regular applicants?

Apparently the Registrar didn't send in my transfer certification. (They wouldn't do it until I had a "Why transfer" talk with a dean, and, though the dean said I could just tell the Registrar I was good to go, they expected an email from him.) Georgetown said I'm still good for EA if they get in within a week. Here's hoping the fax gets through okay.

Thanks, maf70. Honestly, I was going to just keep waiting and hope it would go complete eventually. Your idea was better.

That's interesting...because there was a significant influx of apps last year for the 1Ls. hmmmmmmmm Correlation doesn't mean causation necessarily...but I hope it does

This thread is much less active than its counterpart form last year. I'm hoping this means fewer EA applications.

this is true. i dug up the thread from last year and its 80 pages long. however, what's there to do now other than for people who applied late to say "anyone not complete yet??" and speculate about the number of transfers going up or down due to 1L applications.

also they were counting down to midnight for April 19th, thinking people would go under review at that moment. the long and short of it is we have to wait until at least the week of April 18th - 22nd before anyone will hear anything.

btw, someone mentioned that numbers were down last year.... without sifting through that thread again, does anyone know how many they accepted last year or how many enrolled?

Good question. This has been discussed, but I'd be interested to hear how many regular applications were received this year. The fact that overall law school apps have been down and GULC extended it's deadline for regular admissions leads me to believe that they received less than normal, which I hope can only help us.

Does anyone know if they take URM status into account for transfer apps?

I'm a male in the top 5% after the first semester at a PT program. I've got African-American lineage (about half), but no real socio-economic stuff from my childhood (read: middle class). Got a some work experience between UG/LS, but nothing super-significant.

Any thoughts on chances?
