Also, although the transfer attempt does somewhat run counter to some of A'nold's previously expressed beliefs, I find it unproductive to toss that in his face now that his career really appears to hang in something of a balance.

What TLS does every day is toss shit in the face of people and tell them they've made poor decisions or had unrealistic expectations and should killself — the only difference is that we know A'nold in a way we usually don't know these other people whose lives and careers also hang in the balance.

Your point is fair. That said, I don't feel right tossing shit in A'nold's face in the midst of a thread someone started to cheer on his transfer cycle. It just seems unnecessary.

Also, FTR, I generally try not to get nasty with people who have made poor decisions unless they out themselves as tools incapable of comprehending/admitting to their mistakes.

Bump. I just checked this out for the first time in a week. The curiosity has killed me all week, but I had no internet and was moving. I thought for sure A'nold would know where he will be going to school by now, but alas . . . more waiting. Some of us waited what seemed like forever before being able to make a decision. Now that we know, we're voluntarily choosing to wait again - with A'nold.

Although I do feel bad for you, I find it rather comical that A'nold has spent so much time telling everyone how terrible schools are that are not in the top 14 or 20 schools. In looking at the past posts, all that is said is how poor of opportunities you have a otherwise great, regional schools...followed by complaining about your own poor prospects. Now, you are struggling to get into anywhere in the top 100 schools.....just funny to me.

Also, if you didn't get into WUSTL and ND, chances are pretty slim you would have gotten into UIUC.

Lol at the "Productive post" bit in a thread that is really without productive purpose. Just wanted to add that a'nold seems like he'll be fine. Despite believing that he's...I don't know...kind of a douche, he seems like he's good at this law school bit and should be good in practice, too. Even if the transfer thing doesn't work out, don't get too down about it.

Tired. Just got back from a week long vacation in CA visiting family. I am still patiently waiting and was told no news was good news. I've basically decided to go with my current school over the t2 (if I'm accepted this week, obviously) and would go to UW in a heartbeat. UW or bust.

I seem to have been called a douche, a hypocrite for apparently going against my "anti-elitist beliefs," and that my career is in danger (or whatever was said). I will address all of these in turn soon. I'll just speak about the third quickly: My career prospects are actually very good, in about everything but biglaw or a COA clerkship, the former of which I'd pass over even if offered, as I've basically said since I registered for this site.
