Checked my phone and saw that I had a voicemail from someone in admissions at Michigan asking that I call her back so that we could have a "chat." I called, but I think she has gone home for the weekend.
With my luck, she'll just have a question about my application, haha.

Nope. "Chat" is the same language they used with someone else that got in. CONGRATS! I am extremely jealous. I wanted in at Michigan so bad but think my chances are fading each day. While I am sure you would rather hear it for real, you should celebrate this weekend...I would.zcc2012 wrote:Checked my phone and saw that I had a voicemail from someone in admissions at Michigan asking that I call her back so that we could have a "chat." In at UCLA, anxiously awaiting Berkeley...
"Ready for review" at Harvard since the beginning of the week, although I don't know if they update once it's actually under review.
Seems like my school got its grades out much later than others' did. A bit frustrating, argh.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. The Yale admissions blog mentions somewhere that they don't use a status check.ZXCVBNM wrote:same here...is that normal? how am i supposed to know if my app is complete by july1 or even if they received it?!

Submitted on 6/8, but my school took a while to get stuff in. Complete email received on 6/21. Phone call on 6/25 (assuming that it really was an acceptance--feeling confident at this point)

Congrats everyone!
I am officially starting to enter worried mode which is getting closer and closer to freak out mode. I have applied to most of the schools people are getting accepted to right now. I know most are long shots but this straight up silence is freaking me out. I applied to 13 schools. I wonder what the odds are of me being dinged everywhere?

Re: Official 2010 Transfer Cycle Results Thread
tbh I am not sure. If I grade onto LR (which is probable but not definite) I mean, that's pretty prestigious. Also, if they gave me money that would influence my decision. It will be a variety of factors, but, let's be clear, the Florida market for lawyers is BEREFT right now. NOT GOOD. Don't let anyone convince you otherwise. And I know that Holland and Knight hired 2 OOSers for their SAs this year in Jacksonville. Yale and BU, you can quote me on that. So, yeah, it's a bad market for UF/FSU/UM/SteTTTson/whatever other TTTTTs are in Florida.pocket herc wrote:mistergoft, what would keep you there?

For realz. Flhealth, no more of this humbleness! Each person on here transferring (for the most part) is vastly improving their school rank and future employment outlook plus accomplished VERY MUCH this year. A Cooley grad in the top 10% that gets into Case Western or something deserves to be just as happy and congratulated as a top 10%, say, UIUC grad that gets into Michigan. And that is the 100% truth.Mr. Matlock wrote:FUCK YES!!!!flhealth wrote:I was accepted today at FSU ....I know this news isnt "earth shattering", but at least I know I won't be graduating from FIU...hopefully good news to follow from UF...good luck everyone!Congrats!!!!

I submitted my application between the first and second weeks of June, waited forever on an LOR and my last few grades. I think they called me within a day or two after receiving my official transcript.Loaflunk wrote:Naturalexponent, how long did it take for UCLA to get back to you?naturalexponent wrote:In at UCLA, anxiously awaiting Berkeley...
