Re: Official Georgetown EA thread
Full time for me, but I had applied to both. Earlier today the status checker's UR date changed and program type switched to full-time.

Full time, but I only applied FT. Thus, I had no PT/FT type switch and again my UR date remained consistent all the way until DR today.

Re: Official Georgetown EA thread
Wow, this is not making it easy to predict. So this round of acceptance is via email and people went directly from Under Review to DR without a change in UR date? So confusing. Wonder if the next round will be WL or what? Do we know if they even wait list transfers?

Those who were accepted, would you mind posting your stats? Just trying to get an idea of my chances at this point...

Congrats to all who were accepted yesterday!
I want so bad to get that email, but at this point I'd be happy to know either way

To all who were dinged at GULC, but still have several other apps out:
I have been accepted at Berkeley and Michigan. So don't give up. This shit just doesn't make sense sometimes.

I agree with this statement. I havent heard anything back from GULC, but have seen some T4 less than top 5% get in. Not sure what they are doing over there...

Re: Official Georgetown EA thread
Hey guys,
I have a question regarding when your status changes. My status was recently updated TODAY, and it changed from Both to Part-time. From what I have read this means that I was accepted as a part-time student, since my status changed to only part-time. Is this true? If so I am about to go from 6 oclock to 12.

That seems to be the consensus. I switched from an old UR date to 7/12 yesterday and the program type changed from both to full-time. An hour later i got the acceptance email. COngrats!iheartlaw wrote:Hey guys,

Mid T2, 3.75 on a 3.0 curve (no rankings)
Status changed to UR on 7/7 due to my phone call, no other info
I'm an evening student, applied to both although expect that if I'm accepted, it'll be into the PT program (since I'm PT right now).

AHHHHH. afterglow thank you. I so desperately wish that this is the case for me. I am not quite sure what to think to be honest; I am scared to call family/friends until I know that I have been admitted. But I am crossing my fingers and will let you all know asap. Also, so was e-mail the way they got in touch with you? You said your's took an hour later, I read earlier in this thread that someones status changed like this on a wednesday and then by friday they received the e-mail. I hope mine is similar to yours, because the anticipation is killllling me.

Unless they are all of a sudden doing stuff differently, it looks like you're in. The whole program type switch being an indication of acceptance goes back to early posts in the thread from April. The email said an acceptance packet was going out today.iheartlaw wrote:afterglow99 wrote:That seems to be the consensus. Re: Official Georgetown EA thread
bigred- did you apply to BOTH FT and PT? If so, did you status change to one or the other under the drop down menu?
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
