Re: Official Georgetown EA thread
I changed to 7/9 UR as well from some June date. I'm top 10% at 40ish ranked school. Applied to GULC last year and was deferred from ED and then waitlisted. Hoping for good news soon!

Re: Official Georgetown EA thread
I applied to both, am still listed as both, and my UR date changed from June something to 7/9.

Re: Official Georgetown EA thread
Any speculation as to what all of this means? What are the stats of the people who have had no change in status date since June?

Re: Official Georgetown EA thread
I think there's a lot of speculation but it's just that . . . speculation. I've given up trying to figure it out. I wish I could go to sleep until Friday and have a couple answers to think about.

Still UR 6/28. Applied EA and was deferred. T3 ranked 2/1xx. Hope I hear something soon.

Re: Official Georgetown EA thread
Maybe. I just don't get the waves of acceptances/denials. Some people got rejection emails last Friday. I didn't, and I cautiously interpret that as a good sign. It seems like not getting denied is a good thing.LOL no, my comment was about your "both" not changing to ft/pt. From all previous posts on this thread (I think), it seems that "both" =/= acceptance after your UR status date changes. I only applied ft, but I'm in the same boat as you. We're either getting a WL/ding.
Oh well. Good luck.

update - UR date is now 7/12 (changed from 6/23), but program type changed from both to full-time. Hopefully this is good news!

Re: Official Georgetown EA thread
Trying to understand the prediction here... mine is UR 7/9, but still says both. Does this mean likely rejection? Since it hasn't switched to PT or FT?

Re: Official Georgetown EA thread
I know this has probably been discussed elsewhere but if someone doesn't mind, would someone kindly catch me up on this both part time/ full time thing? Mine only shows full time on the drop down menu in status checker -- but I wasn't interested in part time. Also, I'm an RD applicant, thought I'd mention because I'm not sure if that makes a difference. Thanks much!

Awesome. Had you all changed to DR and/or had UR changed dates to 7/7 or 7/9?

Re: Official Georgetown EA thread
I had no UR change, and it was UR 6/22 when I last checked an hour ago. Went straight to "Application Completed and Decision Rendered 7/12"

Congrats! Can you access the admitted student's site yet? I am now dying for an email in my inbox... I'm sure I'll get a spam one at some point and threaten to throw my computer out the window.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
