I'm T50 top 20% DR. Live in DC and applied PT only.
Sounds like a total crap shoot. Good luck all.

How come this is the only school thread with such outrageous, rampant, speculation? I havent seen anything like it elsewhere (besides ESPN/LeBron)

Re: Official Georgetown EA thread
Could be good news for us. Also, the top 20% t1 guys only applied to pt. so that also could support the "lower numbers get int part time" line of thought.thexfactor wrote:have a buddy who is top 20-25% T50 who is still under review... turned in before deadline.

Okay the waiting is seriously giving me indigestion.
I live in northern VA - no mail. Also no email. I will say that I think the gods are with us because when I checked my mailbox, "Don't Stop Believing" by Journey was on in my apartment's lobby. Very inspirational.
HOLD ON TO THE FEEEELLLINNN (at least one more day).

See, I would agree with this reasoning, however, if you research all of the pt. applicants through the years for GULC, you will see that many were like top 15% at t2's or something similar. There just is not that much data on the pt. class and of the data we have it looks like the #'s are noticably lower. Maybe there is hope, maybe not.

i have a feeling we might see each other in DC next year. However, after lunch, I will be taking the metro back to FOGGY BOTTOM.

I was EA, went complete weeks ago, and have NO IDEA about the status of my application. I need to start making moves on OCI deadlines at my current school, deposit deadlines at other schools, notifying my school if I transfer, OCI deadlines at other schools, living arrangements, when I'm going to finish my summer internship, etc...![]()

i agree, this is the most nerve wrecking thing i've ever been through. been under review since 6/30 for regular admission... i'm probably not going to know anything for awhile if early action people haven't heard anything.Big Shrimpin wrote:Still UR. I think me chitown, stinger have the same chances of getting accepted at GULC as Cleveland does of keeping Lebron.
Almost all signs point towards a ding, but something just doesn't feel right.

for all the mystery and speculation that's gone into this round of DR, still not sure why no one who applied to both is commenting on whether their status checker changed from both to either FT or PT. It sounded like this happened to everyone who applied to both and was admitted for the EA decisions.
