Re: T14 Transfer Status Change Thread
In at NYU as of yesterday. Got a phone call and a overnighted acceptance package.
That means I'm in at NYU and Michigan (which were the only two I applied to).

NYU must have a crazy amount of applicants this year. Still waiting on CLS here, but as of now, planning to attend NYU.

Re: T14 Transfer Status Change Thread
I'm starting to hate the hour of 4-5PM, since that seems like the time CLS has been emailing people about acceptances (at least that was the case with last week's acceptances). Nothing worse than just staring at the inbox and waiting for something to come. But at least it only lasts for an hour until I can call it quits at 5.

Has anyone received rejections from NYU/CLS? or have there just been acceptances so far?

Re: T14 Transfer Status Change Thread
I don't recall hearing about anyone mentioning NYU or CLS rejections yet. But all acceptances for NYU seemed to come after just a few days of UR, and the CLS acceptances seemed to all be people who were complete for around a week. So my guess is, if you have been complete/UR for far more than 7 days, it likely isn't good news. And it makes sense, since acceptees will have to uproot themselves and they need to get the ball rolling quickly. But people they aren't accepting, there is no urgency because, while nervewracking, the people who get rejected don't actually have to uproot themselves and change their situation.

I seem to remember someone on here who was UR 6/30 at NYU and just accepted a few days ago, so there may still be some hope for those who have been UR for a while.kaiser wrote:I don't recall hearing about anyone mentioning NYU or CLS rejections yet. Re: T14 Transfer Status Change Thread
I certainly hope thats the case. NYU has accepted so few people so far that the sample size is really too small for me to make any blanket observations, so I likely overstated it.KafkaLover wrote:I seem to remember someone on here who was UR 6/30 at NYU and just accepted a few days ago, so there may still be some hope for those who have been UR for a while.kaiser wrote:I don't recall hearing about anyone mentioning NYU or CLS rejections yet. Re: T14 Transfer Status Change Thread
I haven't seen any examples of people being accepted just a few days of UR. It seems more like a 2-3 week turnaround, but I also haven't scoured every post to verify this.kaiser wrote:I don't recall hearing about anyone mentioning NYU or CLS rejections yet. Re: T14 Transfer Status Change Thread
Myself and one other person went UR on a Friday, and our decision letters went out the next Thursday, so it was under a week. But I guess that was atypical.empire84 wrote:I haven't seen any examples of people being accepted just a few days of UR.
