You can always impeach her on the witness stand.

I wouldn't worry too much about not being able to write on to law review. I don't think any transfers were on law review my year. Everyone did secondary journals, which we all later found out were dumb and unnecessary to get jobs through EIP anyway.

yea I don't think I am doing the write on --- just too much to do this weekend especially when chances of even getting into cls are slim, let alone making LR at CLS.

Can someone step up, in honor of Zoom^2 admirability (is this a word), and call CLS and ask if they plan to make decisions this week? If not, when next week?

I think admissions is going to give the same stock answer that they have been giving all week. I may ask my coworker to call for me we'll see if I actually get the write on done. I would be furious if I did it and wasn't accepted so if it happens it will be closer towards next week when I have a better feelong about admissions

here's my thinking (because i'm bored as fuck at the office and Lexis keeps having problems)

1. CLS honestly hasn't made any decisions yet. Is still wading through apps. And somehow plans to finish all that between now and the 15th-ish
2. or CLS has made decisions for its first-round admits and is waiting until the ppl headed to HLS/NYU/Penn withdraw

Personally i'm skeptical that the adcomm has twiddled its thumbs for the past month and hasn't made any decisions at all. More likely that they're waiting for candidates to self-withdraw so they can readjust the admit pool accordingly before sending out offers. Guessing 7/11 or 7/14 release

why would they compromise the caliber of their yield by waiting for NYU?

seems stupid.

CLS > NYU and they know it. why risk losing top candidates who would be accepted at both just by taking too long and letting them to go NYU.

ehh do these schools really care about the caliber for transfers after a certain point though? And you're right that CLS > NYU, and applicants know that too. So the kids who REALLY want CLS will stay and the kids that want NYU will leave, which is what I think they're waiting to see. But i mean just a guess. I think HLS matters more re: self-withdraw stuff

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
