I've been complete since 6/12 and haven't heard back yet. I did not apply early action. Does that mean I'm waiting for bad news? I called them and told them I have a seat deposit due july 7th and they said I should hear before then.

I don't think bad news! According to the thread, deposits are due today, and Monday... so they're probably waiting for some seats to open up. I'm waiting too :)

Anyone hear anything? I put a seat deposit down at another school already. I have to start preparing for OCI, but I really want to go to GW. I know deposits were due yesterday. Two people I know applied a week later than me and got rejected (they had lower grades). Just want to know what's going on. The school keeps telling me I should have a decision in a week or two.

I'm top 5% at a TTT. My friends were both top 15% at the same school. I was WL at Georgetown too. I've been complete since 6/12.

That's basically what I'm doing. Moving to DC for GW and then if I get GULC, I might go there. Problem is, we would miss a lot of OCI at GULC.

Trep, since deposits were due, they'll probably start notifying new people this week.

Does GW send out formal waitlist decisions to transfer applicants? I called today and they said I would hear by the end of the month now. Two weeks ago they said I should hear in about two weeks. Frustrating :/

I got in this morning. Also not EA. I went complete on 7/8. Stats: Top 50% at TTT.

Surprised I got in, paid the seat deposit immediately, but missing OCI because the deadline was last week for GW. However, I am doing the Loyola Patent Interview Program in Chicago next week, so hopefully something comes of that.

Beyond excited to attend GW in the fall

You got in? Congrats...just curious how you got in. I got dinged yesterday...I also attended a TTT, but I was ranked very high in my class. I'm going somewhere else now and still hoping for GULC waitlist

Oh sorry to hear that. I'm still trying to figure that out myself TBH. The only thing I really had going for me was the engineering background for patent law and I went to GW for grad school (but I didn't get in last year as a first year applicant). Good luck with GULC

I thought Early Action was supposed to guarantee a response by a certain date?
