I think Dean Deal said August 5th was the deadline to accept. No need to accept on the spot (though I was trying to).

Does anyone else's status checker say "If" in the middle of the screen? I figured it was a bug, but curiosity happens.

That's awesome dude. Congrats! Were you applying anywhere else or just Stanford?

Also applied (successfully) to Harvard, but I'm going to withdraw just as soon as I get something on paper saying that I'm in at Stanford. I'm starting to think I should have applied to Yale too, it would have been sweet to sweep the trinity (though I still would have taken Stanford).

If I worked in admissions, I'd only call for rejections and only informally email acceptances. The responses would be much more mellow, and I wouldn't need to hear oh my god's 10 times a day.

Well, I got the IF. At the very least I'd love to at least get a keep it real e-mail from Stanford.

"We did not have that many applicants this year, but your application was so pathetic we could not possibly admit you and still be a credible institution. Thank you for your joke of an application."

Now, that would be an institution I would be honored to be rejected by. These other sugarcoated ones, eh. I'm not a fan of the it's not you, it's me.

mine too - there's a big IF between the columns? Probably good you don't have it as if I have it, it might be the ones labeled as Idotic Fools. I was top 50% at Phoenix Law Online but I heard Stanford is getting more competitive this year.
