Re: Notre Dame Transfer?
You all withdrawing must be taking a toll on Melissa, she sent out an email (on Friday after Fourth of July) saying:
"While your confirmation is not binding, we do expect that if you deposit and participate in the bidding process for off-campus or on-campus interview programs, your intent is to enroll at NDLS. You are not merely holding a place in the class. We provide access to the bidding process because we know the primary reason for transfer is to increase job opportunities. You should only confirm your enrollment and participate in the bidding process if you are confident that you will enroll at NDLS this fall."
Nonetheless, congratulation to everyone that decided to go else where!

Granted Gtown is a T14, but by being on waitlist probably mean that you will miss out on OCI, or a significant part of it, so put that into consideration.jmls1987 wrote:Hopefully I get one of their spots. Just got my second decision of my transfer cycle....waitlisted at G-town
As far as ND goes, with all the people withdrawing, I am sure they will accept you in a heartbeat if you send them a letter of continuous interest.

Do you think I should send a LOCI this early? I might. I have never written one.kyle010723 wrote:Granted Gtown is a T14, but by being on waitlist probably mean that you will miss out on OCI, or a significant part of it, so put that into consideration.jmls1987 wrote:Hopefully I get one of their spots. Yes, tell them you have been accepted to this and this school, but you would really like to attend ND, tell them you have a deposit deadline and the other school, and see if they can expedite their decision.jmls1987 wrote:Do you think I should send a LOCI this early? Re: Notre Dame Transfer?
Just found this forum and it is extremely helpful. I have been waiting for a decision for two weeks now, and was wondering if anyone has been denied admission. Congrats to everyone that got in.

Welcome to the forum. 2 weeks seems like a long time. Is your file complete? Waiting on interview?
And no, I dont think I've hear anyone that got straight out denied thus far.

File went complete on the 29th, and did an interview on the 28th. The director of admissions said they would have a decision ready for me that upcoming Friday, and still nothing. At this point much hope is lost haha, I'm assuming they'll send out all dings in one day at this point.
