Under committee review at Penn as of today. Guess they want to reject me and get it out of their system quickly
I have a sinking feeling that 10% at T25 just isn't enough for Penn, Columbia, or NYU

You guys apply to Mich? Do u think it's a big difference from Penn?

Yeah I applied to Michigan. Not really sure if there is a big difference in transfer stats, tbh (never looked into Penn). I would be surprised if there was, they are essentially peer schools right? Could depend on size of transfer classes and any regional preferences.

ready for review at H as of today. though it might be more appropriate phrased "ready for rejection."

it only took LSAC a mere 8 days from recieving my transcripts to process them and get them out to schools. in the mean time i'm just hoping it's not too late for me to get Michigan.

Still incomplete at Columbia and NYU. Everything was sent 2 weeks ago, or more, and should have arrived last week. Anyone else having the same problem? Has anyone emailed or called either school?

Got the Michigan package today. Deposit is $600 due July 29th. Due July 20th if you want to do OCI. Write on starts July 21st and is due by August 5th.

IMO, those deadlines are much more favorable than GULC's "send us your money and do the write-on nao!" schtick.

I feel like you and i are in the same boat in regards to waiting for other acceptances. Whats the latest you're gonna wait to deposit at UMich? I think if we don't deposit by the 20th then we're at a disadvantage in OCI.... I think I read that somewhere in the packet

Definitely, Michigan also sent an entire folder with info about the school, classes, journals, housing, and football tickets. Made a much better impression than GULC sending two pieces of paper demanding money.

Did you put down your GULC deposit? and yeah the Mich folder/portfoilio is impressive

Yeah, I'm def going to deposit by the 20th. I don't wanna miss out on OCI; that's the whole point of transferring. I've been very impressed with everything I've heard in regard to transfers at Michigan (integration, small transfer class, oci success), so missing out at CLS/NYU is something I'm ok with at this point.

Yeah, in another thread a transfer from last year said he knew that at least 15 transfers got a job through OCI, and there were only 24. The national reach is also big for me as well. And yep, it's the click clock wood level, that game to me is what mario is to others during their childhood (and who am i kidding, I still pull out my n64 and play through it).

Anyone else having issues with Gtown receiving all your application materials? Just got my second (and final) "Your app is incomplete" email today. Funny thing is, I've already been accepted to 3 other places (non-t14), so I know LSAC and my current school sent everything out. Not sure if I ought to call or email them, since the email basically says "eff off, don't contact us," and their status checker is kinda crap. Also not sure if it's worth it, since I don't think I have a very good chance at getting in anyway.

Congrats! Your stats would give me hope, but I think they have already hit their quota for my neighborly Bay Area school.

I spoke to someone at Chicago today, he confirmed that they had all the info needed to make a decision, but that the ED apps won't be updated online until they make a decision.
