If an e-mail doesn't come soon, I guess that would likely mean it's a two-day event.

I imagine he didn't ask, after having been admitted, when the rejection e-mails would come.Welp2277 wrote:Same goes with rejection e-mails?traydeuce wrote:How long are these calls?zcc2012 wrote:When she was on the phone with me, she said "The e-mail will probably be sent out later today, no, wait, I mean it will DEFINITELY be sent out later today."kevzez wrote:I am still missing my confirmation e-mail. Well, at that rate they could conceivably still be ongoing.zcc2012 wrote:Just checked. Well, 5pm CST. No email or phonecall. Any ED holdovers have any status change since 5/17?

Mine was about 5 minutes, as we talked about what I need to do with OCI and bidding.

Yeah, all I could think to say was "Wow, thank you, this is fantastic news, thank you." On repeat. In retrospect, it would have been a good idea to ask about those things!

Well, let us know if you get an e-mail, as then, should we not get a rejection e-mail today, we'll know if that means anything or if the rejection e-mails are just going out later.

Deposit deadline is July 21, but it says to contact them if you have concerns about that. $500 seat deposit.

Ah, no e-mail and no status checker change. Well I guess that's that. Unless, of course, there's a second wave tomorrow. Possible, I suppose, though not probable.

I don't think you're missing it, it just hasn't come out. Why don't you just email Jayme and ask? I did, and I got a confirmations like over a month ago.
Yea I know it hasn't come out just would feel nice to have that out of the way. I would email Jayme but I figure at least for today and tomorrow she has pretty busy days.

Re: The Official Chicago Transfer Decision Countdown
Maybe I'm just being willfully optimistic but I'm starting to think there's a good chance of more admissions tomorrow. They didn't give themselves much time to admit all their admits if they started at 10 of 5, there's no rejection e-mail or status update, people with even better numbers than mine haven't gotten in, only 5 people on here have said they've gotten in, which seems low... I think there are pretty decent chances that it's not over.

Bump to note that, absent rejection by way of status checker or e-mail, and given the fact that only 5 TLSers were admitted yesterday (or at least, said so), it seems more likely than not that more admissions are coming.

Calls today, if at all, do you think? Or would we just be guessing?solidsnake wrote:Agreed. Good luck, everyone.traydeuce wrote: more likely than not . . . more admissions are coming.

Well, I don't know anyone in the Admissions Office there, so I'd just be guessing -- but I'd wager that with so few spots left, they'll probably be calling the admits. But who knows? Maybe the calls just go out to autoadmits; this could be UChi's way of further stratifying successful applicants.traydeuce wrote:Calls today, if at all, do you think? Re: The Official Chicago Transfer Decision Countdown
Some of those people who got in yesterday didn't sound like autoadmits. I tend to think they simply didn't finish reviewing everyone, liked some of the files they read enough to make offers, and will make more offers today/tomorrow.

They probably stepped out to purchase a few rolls from the local bakery and will return to make more calls soon.
