Re: NYU status
Is it possible/probable that some of us will never get a decision, or will hear back super late in August? I've been in UR purgatory for a number of weeks now.

Re: NYU status
I've been under review since 6/28. I am going to Penn (unless I'm accepted by NYU).

Re: NYU status
I went under review 7/23 (delayed by undergrad transcripts) and decision letter sent 7/28. I cannot access the admitted students website. I'm not sure if this means rejection (has anyone actually been rejected yet?) or maybe the system hasn't updated. I'm crossing my fingers but I suppose the answer is in the mail

Accepted via mail yesterday, went to "Decision Letter Sent" on Tuesday. I plan on withdrawing, as I've paid my deposit at Columbia.

Re: NYU status
is this to mean that the mass mailing of 7/29 are rejections?

Re: NYU status
My understanding was a mass 7/30 mailing, but perhaps so.

Note also that interalia, a 7/29 mailing, was admitted.

Re: NYU status
In point of fact, my friend was informed over the phone that he was not amongst the batch of rejections. Which doesn't necessarily show that they divulge offers of admission over the phone, but does suggest that they might.gotttal wrote:i dont believe that. they do not give decisions over the phone.traydeuce wrote:Note also that interalia, a 7/29 mailing, was admitted.

Re: NYU status
Very good point Traydeuce- seems as if they already had the batch of rejections sent out, essentially?
