Dear Throngs Of People Waiting For GTown Decisions,
I suspect that a lot of you will get in when people like me finally pull out sometime this week or next. I was an autoadmit months ago, paid my deposits, but would toss aside my seat for CCN and very probably even a Penn or Duke. Most of which tend to get back to people by the middle of the month.

Under review, switched last week. Finally got my updated grades and ranking in very recently. Received an email from admissions saying decisions are likely to be rendered by the end of July. Good luck all!

Anyone have any new insight or additional changes in their status? Also, does anyone know when GULC sends out PT acceptances/ rejections?

Re: Official Georgetown EA thread
You would think that because so many people switch from PT to FT after first year that they would admit a crapload of transfers to the PT program. It doesn't seem to work like that, though.

Re: Official Georgetown EA thread
i think the general consensus is that there is no consensus.. lol
but if you must make me guess, then I will guess that this round is mixed/negative. I dont see any "autoadmit" people getting this new status.. IE people that are T50 5-7%.

I was making my usual rounds on the transerapps website and noticed that most of the pt admits had lower #'s, like 10-15%........hope?

Doesn't look like a big enough sample to really hypothesize -- it would make sense though.

BTW soft factors (PS) are more important in transfer than in regular admissions. This hasn't completely made sense so far, so maybe there is more than just numbers at play here.

Just got class ranks TODAY after last professor turned in spring grades... moved up a little to top 6% despite GPA going down significantly. GULC has been emailed.

I wonder if they are reviewing them at all by the file completion date.

Decision rendered. Still says both. Damn, I was really hoping that I had a chance at the part time program. Wow, when it rains it pours.
