Same here. I cannot even focus on my work!! keep refreshing the status checker for a thousand times.... Given that two guys also went under review today already get a call this early afternoon, it seems that the admissions office already made a decision between reviewed apps today. I almost lost hope. Want a confirmation as well. Waiting game is making my crazy...

Dude, I am so unproductive at my internship right now. Between this and preparing for OCI it is so hard to get anything done. I had so many grand plans for what I wanted to accomplish this summer and instead I've spent the whole time reduced to a puddle of nerves, refreshing TLS and various status checkers.

Legit everyday this stresses me out. It's genuinely made it difficult to enjoy my summer; the uncertainty of next year (in a month and a half) on top of the inability to do anything but wait is excruciating.

hey guys I'm at a T1 3.6x GPA, went UR1 today, application went complete yesterday. However, I have a deadline on the 3rd but NYU is my #1 choice. Do you guys think its a good idea to call them and inform about the deadline? I've heard people getting rejections after such calls lol.

So far all the reported admits only gone through two reviews, and several people went UR3 have not get the acceptance. based off previous year threads, there are people who went under review for 3 or 4 times got rejected eventually. So I would not say a UR 3 means admits.

My sense for this cycle is that UR3+ basically means you're a bubble candidate, and you're unlikely to get a decision until later in the cycle when the rest of the dominoes start falling (particularly Harvard & Columbia) and students currently admitted at NYU start withdrawing.

Just my 2 cents.

I don't think there is any discernible connection between UR dates and updates at this point. Seems like strong candidates have gotten in, others haven't.
