Just for tealeaf reading...do you know what dates/how many times you went under review?

My application went in super late. Had missing materials up until yesterday. Went under review 7/8 and got the decision today.

No doubt the deluge is about to begin for decisions I think.

Were you able to access the admitted students page?

Not sure. I'll have to figure it out pretty soon I guess. Any tips on using these acceptances to see if I can speed Columbia up on a decision?

I'd just make it about money. Tell them that, unless you receive a decision within a week, then you'll lose a substantial security deposit.

Just FYI for future reference, DLS can also mean a ding, if you're not able to get into the admitted students page / don't receive a UPS email. Some people got DLS with a ding email.

Btw, you guys should start an NYU Transfer 2015 accepted thread. Only put your stats in there. Your UR etc. So people can look next year and not see all of our mumbo jumbo

If this is true, then having no movement isn't necessarily a negative thing. Could be kind of a quasi waitlist

First time posting in this thread, but wanted to share that I submitted my application on June 30 and went DLS today. No emails or calls but I can access the admitted students site so I think that's good news.

Stats are likely top 1-2% from Fordham (Fordham doesn't rank beyond top 10% so it's just an educated guess).

FWIW, my application status still has the college questionnaire box unchecked.

Harvard admitted a few today...hopefully that will open a few more spots here.

Checking in: TTT, 4%, received all my application materials yesterday but submitted on 6/23. Status is still application being processed and status date is 6/24. Nervous that if the status date doesnt change to UR soon while theyre making all the updates today that it may be a bad sign? If youre on similar timing as me and you have updates let me know!

(full disclosure: my name makes it seem like i dont like RBG but i love her. it was a play off of a naughty by nature song that failed. had to get that off my chest )

I never thought about this when we have been discussing this. But my rank wasn't out for second semester but my GPA was. So, I gave them first semester GPA rank 3.6/23 and 3.5. Would they wait on that rank or would they make a decision without that? I guess if they would go ahead, my chances might be better than I thought.

Because they don't have it confirmed that my rank went from 23-37. They just assume it dropped.
