Yep. All people who are ready for review as 6/25 are rejected. Sorry bro, should'a submitted earlier.
Why do you say that? I have a hard time believing that an entire group of applications that were submitted before the deadline will be automatically dinged just because they went ready for review a little bit later.
sarcasm.

Haha. Apparently, I need to work on my [sarcasm detector]/[sense of humor]. Thanks for the clarification.

still hoping that decisions will be made by Thursday. Three weeks ago, they said they wanted all documents in by the 20th.

So some of you believe HLS will make a decision by this Thursday and have also conducted interviews by then? Also, Friday is a holiday.

No interviews.
Who knows if there will be decisions by Thursday. Last years timeline would suggest that there would be.

Pardon my ignorance. Are interviews a condition precedent to offers of admission? That seems to be the trend with some schools, but I don't know whether interviews are a necessary precursor at HLS or any schools.

Yes. They said they are not conducting interviews for transfers.

Called to see if there was "any way" decisions would be out prior to my deposit deadline for another school on Monday. He "couldn't say when decisions will be released other than it will be by the middle of the month." Not particularly helpful, but there it is.

In the past, there have been multiple waves of decisions, so I'm hopeful that when they say decisions "by mid-july," they mean the whole process, including rejections, will be completed by then; this would mean that the first wave of acceptances could/should roll out a lot sooner (and hopefully before people need to put down deposits elsewhere).
Last year acceptances came on July 8; then dings on July 10, 12, 15, and 17.
Here's the 2012 timeline (according to someone on last year's thread): Fri 07/06 (admits) --> Tues 07/10 (admits) --> Fri 07/13 (denials) -----------------> denials and admits trickled in until the 26th.

I transferred to HLS last year from a low T2. To clarify some speculation going on here:
1. No interviews. Yet when I got there, every administrator knew exactly who I was by name, work experience, and reputation. They apparently don't need an interview to know you.
2. It's actually not a numbers game so don't obsess about your undergrad GPA/LSAT/first semester/etc. At our orientation someone asked why we were all there, and they said that they get SO many qualified people, they like to pick people who seem interesting. I was from a very scrappy school and was not even in the top 5 of people in my class, but got in. You definitely don't have to be #1. It helps if you're close, though. I think once you hit a certain competency point, they choose based on other who knows what factors. I can say that the transfer class is definitely an eclectic and interesting bunch.
3. Our transfer class is about 29? 30? I HIGHLY doubt they admit 40-50. I can't imagine a lot of people turn it down.
4. There is no scam to get extra income from transfers. HLS is the only school that gives transfers any financial aid (need-based, and not at ALL generous, but it's there for some people).
Good luck to everyone!

Just so you know I use your cycle as the basis for all of my predictions. I have read like all of your posts. Hope that's not creepy. =P

Uhhhhh... of course not... J/K. That's what they're there for. I hope it helps!
And if anyone has any other questions about the crazy game of transferring or being a transfer at HLS or being a public interest person feel free to ask or PM me (just don't ask me your chances).
To the comment about 34 transfers in last year: the transfer "class" also includes a few people who are actually visiting from other schools, not transferring proper. I know of at least three visitors who were not "true" transfers because they are returning to their schools or graduating at the end of the year. So I think the actual number was a little bit lower. 29-31?

My number is from the Harvard 2013 ABA 509 required disclosure. It doesn't include "visitors" as "transfers."

Oh interesting. Well they aren't in our Facebook group so they must not count.

Just wondering - does that include all that enrolled? perhaps there were a few that declined? Maybe got into Yale or Stanford?

God damn lawyers, man. Someone tries to help us out and then we fact-check, cross-reference, and accuse. Zor, I wouldn't be surprised if CounselorNebby files a lawsuit against your IIED or misrepresentation or something.

Zor is helpful. Zor's posts in last year's thread are how I gauged everything this year. I'm simply stating what HLS ABA disclosure says.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
