Re: GULC Transfer 2014
Hi everyone! I'm arriving late to the conversation, but I also applied early action (T1, top 4%), but only to the part-time program. Does anyone know if there are any statistics available breaking down the transfer acceptances or enrollments by full or part time status? I'm wondering if my chances are reduced because I'm applying part-time.

Hopeful, I would venture to say that it won't weigh particularly heavily on your admissions decision. Transferring is a numbers game, and you have surely played those cards in your favor. Best of luck to you!CounselorNebby wrote:I don't know of any data of this nature.HopefulTransfer1 wrote:Hi everyone! Thanks. I'm hoping that a lot of part time students transfer into the full time program to free up some spots!

My status checker updated:
"Ave" is now "Avenue"
"Apt" is now "Apartment"
"USA" added to Country of Citizenship.
For statistical reference. I'm top 1% at T2.

Could this mean that it is not a sign of acceptance? Should we be celebrating?

Re: GULC Transfer 2014
It has been indicative of acceptance in the past. In last year's thread, the people who had their addresses updated received acceptances in the mail. The people who didn't have their addresses updated received deferment emails. GULC mails their acceptances, thus tampering with your mailing address would be moot if they were going to email you a deferment. The update to the country of citizenship thing indicates, both in regular admission and transfer admission, that they are sending something. Similar evidence exists in the transfer thread from two years ago. Last year they updated the mailing addresses on 3/27, two years ago it was 4/20, thus we are in between the two time-frames so it would reason that this is according to schedule.ucc2207 wrote:Could this mean that it is not a sign of acceptance? We'll know for sure in a week. It took a week last year from address change to the first letters in the mail arriving.

No. USA is not there until they manually add it--such as today.yolo420blazeit wrote:

Any speculation as to how soon the decision is rendered after the change of address?CounselorNebby wrote:It has been indicative of acceptance in the past. Re: GULC Transfer 2014
Address changes from last years forum didn't seem to mean auto acceptance - http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... &start=175
acceptance pattern seemed to be when the status updated because the 3/27ers got in, the 3/28ers got deferred to regular...but some 38ers mentioned also having address changes. confusing!!
