Another day with no decision? This is getting really tough.

Re: Northwestern 2010 Transfer Cycle
same... I kept the Northwestern Twitter open and just clicked refresh periodically for the last hour of work today.
I think they have to say something tomorrow because the OCI deadline is on the 25th (Sunday). And I'm not sure if they'll extend that deadline for transfers.....I know the adcom is aware that people have multiple T14 offers and are still withdrawing...everyone is playing the let's wait and see game. I just hope students who would rather be somewhere else withdraw instead of seeing how many acceptances they can collect.
I really need to be home for some personal/family reasons this year and it would be better to hop in a car rather than spend thousands of dollars in airfare. Gotta keep the faith...

For a school that so highly values work experience, this is pretty unprofessional.

This is a miserable feeling. I want to go so bad... but even moreso, I just want a decision now.

Re: Northwestern 2010 Transfer Cycle
Nah. Too many people are still shifting. Today people got into Columbia, NYU, and Penn. The GULC's $900 deposit is due by Monday. And many are struggling with the fact that they already put down a deposit somewhere else. NU adcom definetely WANTS to be done...but they know what's up...thexfactor wrote:maybe all rejected...
The question is... how long will the wait be???

Re: Northwestern 2010 Transfer Cycle
I am one such deposit --> withdrawal. Good luck, all.
P.S. I don't know why they keep saying they've made all transfer decisions on twitter. It's illogical to think they wouldn't need some form of a real or virtual wait list at this stage in the cycle.

If you're going to have an OCI bidding deadline as early as 7/25 you need to have an early timeline for transfer decisions. /my2cents

Also, anyone who put down the GULC deposit and are going...please withdraw.
Best of luck to everyone. Let's hope for some word before 30th (i.e. the date when OCI schedules will be posted). Hopefully they'll still let transfers participate if they make decisions before then.
