I'm still waiting on my penn decision, but I fear I'll be in the same boat with you. Hopefully I'm not dinged 3 minutes from now.apper123 wrote:hahaha i feel a little bit better about myself now knowing someone else picked up on my reference (and responded with an even better one lol)

To those attending, where are you (planning on) living? Center City? University City? Other?

Dinged. 6% at T40. Probably one bad second semester grade and a mediocre personal statement that got me.

Re: Penn - Under Committee Review
I am still undecided if I am attending, but I went to Penn undergrad and am leaning towards Penn over UCLA. I think Center City would be better than University City. One nice place is Domus in University City and is literally across the street from the law school. Otherwise, I don't know of many other good options in University City that are ideal for law students.Bankhead wrote:To those attending, where are you (planning on) living? Center City? Top 5% at a high tier 2, summer internship with a federal judge, law review, ties to Philadelphia. Went complete 7/6, under review 7/12.

Re: Penn - Under Committee Review
No, but that would be very helpful! I would be interested in the number of DC employers coming to OCI.CALaw5 wrote:has anyone seem the employer list for oci?
Does anyone know how transfers have done at OCI in the recent past?

Once I got my deposit in and all, I called CPP and asked them how to get started. It's all due for transfers by Aug 8.CALaw5 wrote:has anyone seem the employer list for oci?

Can you view the employers now that you paid the deposit?mars1686 wrote:Once I got my deposit in and all, I called CPP and asked them how to get started. It's all due for transfers by Aug 8.CALaw5 wrote:has anyone seem the employer list for oci?
Communicate now with those who not only know what a legal education is, but can offer you worthy advice and commentary as you complete the three most educational, yet challenging years of your law related post graduate life.

i got a logon to symplicity pretty quickly after they got my deposit. That was before the regular bidding deadline, so OCI may be different for you all.

I only meant they might send you the list of employers and/or have you do an excel spreadsheet of bids instead of using symplicity. not trying to scare anyone!Bankhead wrote:^I sure hope not...

Oh, haha. I thought you meant limited as in terms of what we could bid on.jellybelly123 wrote:I only meant they might send you the list of employers and/or have you do an excel spreadsheet of bids instead of using symplicity. not trying to scare anyone!Bankhead wrote:^I sure hope not...
