Went to "decision letter sent" on 7/22/2010. Too impatient to wait for the letter, so I tried logging into the admitted students website. It worked! Hopefully this means I've been admitted.
Anyway, does anyone know what the deal is with OCI, housing, etc.?

Me too. I can't bring myself to hope/think this means I've actually been admitted.ziggy wrote:Went to "decision letter sent" on 7/22/2010. Too impatient to wait for the letter, so I tried logging into the admitted students website. It worked! Hopefully this means I've been admitted.

I did the same as you, logged in before the letter arrived. It was an admission. I am almost certain it means you are in.

But what if its a mistake??!!! damn, I'm just being super paranoid. Why does anyone use snail mail anymore?luthersloan wrote:I did the same as you, logged in before the letter arrived. It was an admission. I am almost certain it means you are in.
Now the question is - can I motivate myself to finish the GULC write on over the weekend?

50 bids and bidding is due sometime in august (don't have the exact date handy). NYU seems really transfer-friendly (e.g., transfers don't get sloppy seconds, etc.)ZXCVBNM wrote:how does oci work for nyu transfers...especially this late in the game? do you get to pick the firms? how many can you interview with?

I am wondering if anyone has talked to transfers from their school from previous years.

Is the "transfer enrollment materials" link off the admitted students site working for anyone?
NM. Figured it out. the link on the main part of the first page is to the wrong server, but the link in the sidebar works.

I have a 2 bedroom 1 bath apt. up near Columbia that I am trying to sublet for the upcoming year. I am transferring and need to get rid of this place right away. It's 2 blocks from Columbia and 1 block from the 1 train at 125th street. It's also perfect if youre going to NYU. Only a 30 min ride on the #1 train to NYU.
The rent near NYU is ridiculous, ive seen studios for $1700 bucks.
The place i am offering is 1850 a month.
Avail aug. 1st.
Please check out the listing!

nadda. as much as I do want to go there, if there is just a giant pile of rejections they haven't put stamps on yet, I wish they would, I've been UR for too long.

well, the web guy is still there because they managed to change the address of the new admissions office. Hopefully they didn't leave like a box of applications behind at the old one.
