Either that's because this is finals week or because this is a "long shot" thread. I hope that someone in this thread gets it, however. It will be an exciting week.

Not that I care at all - but since we are on the subject of Chicago and beer...
Did anyone see those Law School Party Rankings on Above the law? Northwestern, Chicago, Loyola, Kent and Depaul were all pretty damn low. Kent and Depaul were in the bottom ten I think. Pretty funny.

I'll save up enough $$ to make this happen once per bi-week for the next 2 yrs*, if people aren't bored by then with my company.JPU wrote:If I get in and my offer doesn't get reneged, I will buy every poster in this thread a beer, maybe 12.
*could only afford to make this happen for future/current Chicago JD posters

TTON, or anyone else with knowledge:
Do you recall if the rejects/deferrals were given out on the same day as acceptances and/or how they were sent out?
Really hoping this its tomorrow, though a rejection won't exactly help my ego before my last exam.

I think rejects and deferrals were snail-mailed last year. Accepted students received telephone calls. Telephone calls were received prior to snail-mail.

I just got done with my final, came home, and . . . there were no messages. I was really hoping that today would be the most amazing day of my life. Oh well!

Wouldn't surprise me if calls don't go out today--the deadline was later this year than it was last year, afterall.

My status is still under review, but the date has changed from 5/10 to 5/14. Has anyone heard anything or experienced a status change?

Same here. Hope it's a good sign.
I want to leave my school even more, post exams. I happened to be in the library when a group of students just brought a study group to my table. Needless to say, I stopped worrying about studying property after realizing they had no clue what equity is.
