I also got an update today.

I went complete 4/30 ---> complete around 6/1 ----> complete 6/21.

I did not send any new materials lately, so it is either an acceptance, rejection, or waitlist, not a random update.

If you have been following this thread, there are many people with worse stats that didn't get an update. If it is an acceptance, we will prob see tomoro or so.

EDIT: There are people with better stats that didn't get an update too. Maybe its a waitlist?

Yes, doesn't work. Not to seem self entitled, but when I saw the update, I was almost certain it was an acceptance. I guess we will see

I have a 3.8, ranked 2/101 in my class at a school ranked 100-120. Only had a 6/12 status update the day after I sent them my unofficial transcript.

I understand what you are saying, but based on the EA movement, an early update was bad. At best, I think it is a waitlist. The lack if an initial update for the EA cycle was a good thing. Basing my logic on this year's EA cycle.

Last year's RD cycle, all the initial updates were in. But I think they also got a U/N P/W

true. My best guess would be Monday, but as per usual, it's just pathetic speculation. For those that are as crazy as me and want to read last year's thread and see what happened there, this is where the round of RD acceptances began:

Ya. Years past, it hasn't happened right away. I might not have been admitted, but not getting the un/pw right away isnt end of the world. If doesn't work by tomorrow, we might be screwed.
