NYU still can't seem to figure out how to process my undergrad transcript. No way it isn't there by now since it was sent last Monday.

Anyone on here have a sample e-mail (to post or PM me) for negotiating scholarship money at your current school, based on a transfer acceptance?

Hi,
I just got accepted to XYZ. I would prefer to stay at [current law school]. However, it is not wise to do so if I cannot increase my scholarship. How much can you help?
Me.

This.
I would recommend getting a face to face with the highest level administrator you can. If you're serious about staying, they will take you much more seriously if you meet with them in person and tell them you really would love to stay, but they need to make it worth your while.
If not, you jump ship.

Has anyone talked to Penn? I really thought they'd be giving decisions out on the 15th.

Not to be over optimistic, but no news is good news until told otherwise.

Rejected from UVA. The email says they got 200 applications and only have 10 seats.

I finally got a "Thanks for your e-mail" response to an e-mail I sent to NYU 11 days ago. Exciting to know that they're at least still alive over there! lol
