Surprised they haven't sent out their deferral emails yet. Guess they're waiting until Friday so that people can go to the bars immediately after receiving it.

+1, I bet they won't email us until Friday.

C'mon GULC adcoms, just let me in. I won't be applying outside of DC. I'm bound to the area by job obligations. Your other admits are all shooting higher after they get their Spring grades!

waiting until Friday would just be cruel. I could see it happening, though I really don't understand the reasoning behind it since it seems like they've already made most of their decisions. What could be left to figure out? Just want to see us squirm?

Are they really going to draw out our deferral until the 30th?

No mail. I have access to the admitted students site, there is no way that I am going to be deferred right? I have until tomorrow morning at the absolute latest to mail my GW deposit if GULC is a no go but I feel like I'm not going to be the first person ever to have access and be deferred, right?

But really in anyone's experience, access to the admitted site = EA acceptance?

Maybe they're waiting until the estimated date that that admits should all be getting their letters?

Can't know for 100% sure until the letter comes, but the access to the site can only be invoked by entering your last name. When you do get in, it says 'welcome [first name].' That means your name is in some admitted students database. That site is loaded with info that could only possibly be relevant if you've been accepted rather than deferred. Given the personalized access and info irrelevant to deferrals, odds seem pretty good that you haven't been deferred. Add on top the fact that everyone in the past who has gained access to that site was admitted, and you're near certainty.

Of the people I told, I said that I'm 90-95% sure of my acceptance. Hopefully that number is either accurate or too low.

How long does it take letters to come?

Has anyone received anything? If anyone who has access to the website gets a letter, please make sure to post!

I am in NY so I am hoping it would not take as long for a letter to get to me if a letter has been sent at all, of course.

I believe somewhere on this thread it was suggested that they would email us this year... Is there a reason for believing this?

Did you guys get your letters? I wonder if they will hold off on the emails of deferment. Does anyone remember from previous years if everyone who did not get in that first wave of acceptances got deferred; or only say 3/4 of the people who were left got deferred with no action with some people... who later got in?

Communicate now with those who not only know what a legal education is, but can offer you worthy advice and commentary as you complete the three most educational, yet challenging years of your law related post graduate life.

Georgetown... if you are reading this, you are one MOFO. It would be nice to know that we are giving one thousand dollars to George Washington with more confidence if you defer or reject or accept. Damn it.
