NYU 2018 Transfer Forum

A forum for those current students who are or may be transferring from one school to another. Post any questions, advice, or other transfer related comments here.

Anonymous Posting

Anonymous posting is only available to the creator of each thread. The anonymous posting feature is intended to permit the solicitation of anonymous advice regarding the transfer application process, chances of being accepted, etc. Unacceptable uses include: testing the feature, questions which are clearly fake or hypothetical in nature, harassing other users, etc. Posters should also read and understand the announcements posted at the top of the Transfers forum prior to using the anonymous feature.

Failure to follow these rules will get you outed, warned, or banned.

I just went through the same thing with UCLA. I live inLos Angeles and was confronted with having to get an apartment in DC. It’s a difficult situation to be in. Best of luck!

Withdrew over the past couple days. Can confirm It was 7/16 for batch accepted on July 5th as well. Good lu k all.

FINALLY! Status just changed to UR2 after no movement for almost 5 weeks. Best of luck, guys! Maybe this week is our week!

Just got the call 5 min ago - will be turning it down though so hopefully that opens up a spot for someone!!
And I believe my deadline was July 23, so possibly more movement after that date as well.
