Is there an appropriate way to ask for an expedited decision? Just don't want to have to pay another seat deposit after paying for Georgetown's already.

Would greatly appreciate it if you could give us your stats, trying to determine what my chances are at this point

I rank in the top 7% at a tier 2 law school, 2 cali awards. I have gotten into Cornell and Berkeley. Has anyone with similar stats been admitted to Columbia or NYU? Or does anyone know what my chances may be?

My Stats: T1 school - top 6%, class rank 17/309, Law Review. 4 LORs -- from professors who have graduated from Harvard, Harvard, Chicago and Yale; engineering background. Good softs. Still waiting on Chicago and Columbia; dinged from Harvard. Not exactly sure if I should still keep hope or give up.

How is everyone going about class registration? I have no idea what classes are needed for graduation at Columbia

The Pre-Registration memo can give you a rough estimate, but other than providing the actual number of credits you need for gradutation, the limit on clinical credits, and telling you that you need a couple of writing credits, it is not particularly helpful in giving you any actual guidelines. At least not from my read of it.

I selected classes based on what I would have taken at my old school before I decided to transfer. Sort of the basic prerequisite classes based on whatever your interests are, like Corporations, International Law, Family Law, that sort of thing.

Does anyone have any idea what time Orientation starts on Tuesday? I did not see much on the website other than "All-Day."

Thanks for replying so quickly!
09:00 is good. That is basically what I was expecting and as long as I have a rough estimate, that works for me. I just wanted to make sure that I was not missing something obvious on the website that everyone else was seeing.
