Not sure about that...last year most people indicated they received a "Decision Letter Sent" on the status checker followed by an email UPS confirmation. They received the official packet shortly after. There might have been an email acceptance as well.

Don't forget to give us all a heads up if you get an acceptance. Give stats too when you notify.

Edit: Btw, I read on a past forum that you can periodically just start putting your stats in on the admitted students page. If they work, you're in.

I'm guessing you're probably in. If you get into the admitted students page or receive a UPS email, then it's definite.

Admitted. Congrats! This thread is about to blow up. FYI if it's anything like the round of admissions 2 weeks ago you will get an email probably around COB with links to the ASW and enrollment stuff. Then you'll get a deluge of snail mail from NYU.

My application went in super late. Had missing materials up until yesterday. Went under review 7/8 and got the decision today.

No doubt the deluge is about to begin for decisions I think.

Jw when people say UR 1/2/3 is that to mean that on the status checker it goes from "Application under review" to UR 2 or "Application under review 2"?

I went complete a couple days ago and it says "Application under review"

It will never say "application under review 2" if that's what you mean. UR 2 just means that the status date changed after it initially went under review.

Not sure. I'll have to figure it out pretty soon I guess. Any tips on using these acceptances to see if I can speed Columbia up on a decision?

Worth a shot, but from what I have read, I doubt it. These schools dont really care all that much.
