Interviewer was unfriendly/annoyed from the beginning, and only seemed to get more so as the interview went on, it seemed like he/she kept glancing at his/her watch, and it was
far from conversational...although to be honest from the time I signed on his/her demeanor made it seem like I didn't have a chance
Rough week for me...
Sorry about your week and how the interview made you feel. Sometimes we read into things more than necessary.
Long as you stayed professional, answered the questions as best as you could, and seemed passionate, you'll be fine!

I wonder if they want to gauge people's level of interest or passion in the school, despite the fact they applied ED.
For the life of me, I have no idea why I wasn't invited to interview but I did talk about my passion for UChicago in a separate essay and my maturity/accomplishments/why transfer in my personal statement.
But hey, I may be wrong.
Hope yalls interviews are going/went well!

You wrote a separate essay? I didn't even know that was an option...
Keep your head up! Top 10% will likely get you in some T-14's!!

It was a why UChicago essay. I know that was acceptable for regular JD applicants and I think I was told or I read somewhere to write one as a transfer applicant

Did you send it in an email or attach it as part of your initial application? If the latter, was there an option to do so?

My s/o who attends now said she grilled him very hard and it was a very tough interview. But things went fine for him! So I'm sure you'll be fine!

What exactly did she grill him about? Why transfer?

He got in regular admissions - he's a 1L right now. But some character and fitness issues mainly.

Based off the years before, either my application was killer (which I doubt) or I'm not getting auto acceptance
Wish I got invited to interview. Ugh
I'm gonna run away. See y'all in a few days
Good luck to all!

I don't have any concrete reason to know this, but I figured that they wouldn't get back to anyone until after all interviews.

Just FYI I know someone who got their ED acceptance last year (after interviewing) on the 27th, so you guys may start hearing within 24 hours if that's any indication.

Overall I was happy with my interview. In hindsight I would have answered two questions a little differently but overall I'm pleased. I think I will address in a follow up letter.

Why? Historically decisions have come out around this time in May.

I guess I don't really have a good reason. I just thought they would wait until all interviews are over.
If you are not admitted through ED do you still have a shot in the regular pool?

Well I think they finished interviews yesterday. And they can defer or deny you
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
