A forum for those current students who are or may be transferring from one school to another. Post any questions, advice, or other transfer related comments here.

Anonymous Posting

Anonymous posting is only available to the creator of each thread. The anonymous posting feature is intended to permit the solicitation of anonymous advice regarding the transfer application process, chances of being accepted, etc. Unacceptable uses include: testing the feature, questions which are clearly fake or hypothetical in nature, harassing other users, etc. Posters should also read and understand the announcements posted at the top of the Transfers forum prior to using the anonymous feature.

Failure to follow these rules will get you outed, warned, or banned.

I wouldn't get too excited yet.

Around the 4th - 6th is when I think we should expect real movement. (I hope I'm wrong though and it's sooner)

Lol ok. But logically speaking why would they update the address for people who they reject? Aren't they going to email those? Anyone know of how it's been handled previously?

I think last year they updated addresses for everyone (including deferrals/rejections) on 4/2, but I'm not 100% sure.

Click "No Password?" and enter your last name and email. Apparently, if you're in the system as accepted, you'll get an email with a temporary password. Otherwise, you'll get a "username cannot be generated at this time" message, which it looks like everyone in this thread is getting so far.

Yeah, you'll get a temporary password. The password won't work until a few days later (mine took four days before I could actually log in using the password), but as long as it gives you a password then you're good.

Looking at last year's EA thread, the address change also occurred on 4/2 and USA was added to citizenship. Did anyone have USA added? My home address was the only thing that changed. Apt. to Apartment. :(

Excited is one thing. Trying to decipher changes in the status checker that may or may not be happening is dumb, especially since there's already the backdoor trick which will actually ultimately tell us something.
