A forum for those current students who are or may be transferring from one school to another. Post any questions, advice, or other transfer related comments here.

Anonymous Posting

Anonymous posting is only available to the creator of each thread. The anonymous posting feature is intended to permit the solicitation of anonymous advice regarding the transfer application process, chances of being accepted, etc. Unacceptable uses include: testing the feature, questions which are clearly fake or hypothetical in nature, harassing other users, etc. Posters should also read and understand the announcements posted at the top of the Transfers forum prior to using the anonymous feature.

Failure to follow these rules will get you outed, warned, or banned.

Haha, I love how I began this Peter thread. The guy's nice, no doubt. And super calm. Kinda the type where his calmness only makes me that much more nervous.

I did get an email from Columbia telling me they would try to expedite my decision so that I can have a downpayment for NYU or not on Friday. No promises though.

I emailed. But I really JUST went complete and my last documents were received Friday PM- so I'm really not expecting much this week unless I'm either an auto-admit or auto-ding.

ha, that's interesting, exactly the same here. Got the complete email Friday night. is your NYU deadline Monday?

I went ahead and emailed. Sure would be nice to be at Columbia AND not have to deposit twice...

Psach, I'm in the same boat as you. They seem to be coming one at a time with a significant amoutn of time in between. 4:30 PM in NYC, still a chance for us.

I'm sure Peter has a terrific family to match his wonderful self and needs to go home to them. He'll be back up at the office bright and early to send out out our acceptances. Hopefully he will enjoy a relaxing evening at home.
