A forum for those current students who are or may be transferring from one school to another. Post any questions, advice, or other transfer related comments here.

Anonymous Posting

Anonymous posting is only available to the creator of each thread. The anonymous posting feature is intended to permit the solicitation of anonymous advice regarding the transfer application process, chances of being accepted, etc. Unacceptable uses include: testing the feature, questions which are clearly fake or hypothetical in nature, harassing other users, etc. Posters should also read and understand the announcements posted at the top of the Transfers forum prior to using the anonymous feature.

Failure to follow these rules will get you outed, warned, or banned.

just got an acceptance email. only have until july 5 to pay deposit

my status still has a date of June 27, and I'm assuming the quick turn around is because they want to fill spots quickly. Not sure if I should pay the deposit...still holding out for Mich or Northwestern, but doubt I'll hear back from either of them before July 5

I got another status update today. Says my application is complete. On my previous update (6/29) it said my application was complete. So are they going to review it soon? Thanks!

I went complete on 7/19 and got in on 7/22, and I was definitely not auto-admit (top 10% at a TT).

Status: Application Completed 6/29

Maybe I'll find out this week based on what everyone else is saying.

4.09 GPA at T2 school. I was feeling very confident until I read this thread.

Edit: 2nd tier school

So I figured. GULC seems to punish those applying from schools with lower curves. 3.77 at my school is top 2%

Offered admission to GULC today. I have until the 13th to submit my deposit. That seems longer than I expected based on everybody else's feedback.

Yeah your GPA is above 4.0. You'll get in somewhere better.
