If it's any consolation, I think I might have offended him in my admission call. I am so socially awkward

Maybe they're waiting to get a final tally, and might accept one or two of those of us still waiting depending on how many people enroll?

Who knows. I've been Ready for Review since mid-June.
I got the acceptance call on Tuesday (7/20) at around 10:00 AM. They gave us one week to decide (i.e. 7/27). So...there's a distinct chance a few more might be admitted on 7/28...

Good luck to those still waiting!

See...this makes me suspect the validity of that earlier post that said they were in the T50s, top 5%, PT, and got in.
Invalidity is one possibility. Another is that softs actually matter (unlike for normal admissions, where they clearly do not).
I would just like to note that I suspect softs played a huge role in this transfer cycle.

Care to elaborate what type of soft factors made you stand out?

I'd like to think that my softs are the only reason I haven't been rejected yet, but who knows.

Called the office today. The woman I spoke with said that planned on notifying all of their admits "soon" so that they were able to participate in OCI. I guess that means they still plan on admitting more people, so that's nice.

rejected by email this morning, 10:50am ET. Looks like Columbia it is.

11-12% T30-40s.

Best of luck to anyone still waiting.

What are we thinking? Is today Judgment Day for those of us who are still waiting?

I wonder what they're waiting for...

When I called the other day the woman said that "most decisions have been made, but they're still debating some people," and those people would hear "very soon."

I guess "very soon" is in the eye of the beholder.

I decided after getting into Columbia and NYU to stay on the LR and in top 1% at my current school (20-25) --> If I got into H I don't think my caclulated decision for staying would be all that different...

I think that HLS should make more of an effort to contact transfer students and keep them in the loop about their status. That is just my two cents lol.

I called yesterday and they said "the most up to date information is on the status checker" but mine hasn't changed since my 6/30 Ready for Review. I wonder how many others are still in limbo.
