Re: Official Transfer What Are My Chances Thread
If this is the official what are my chances transfer thread, I think the office it holds is treasurer. Maybe secretary.
Edit P.S. Tray2...you were a funny story at first, but then you became a problem. Like day-long hiccups. Or crabs.

Re: Official Transfer What Are My Chances Thread
This may not be appropriate for this thread, however I could use some help. I will be attending McGeorge next year ( has been a low t2 3/4 years) and am considering attempting to transfer. I was just wondering what the cut off line in class rank would be to even consider transferring? Hastings is a school that I have wanted to attend for some time, so starting from there where should I shoot for, besides #1 in my class :-p.

Top 10-15% would probably do it.scuzle wrote:This may not be appropriate for this thread, however I could use some help. Naturally I tried to pick professors who were huge fans; I think I succeeded, but one's kind of a mysterious perv, as others who went there will attest, so one never quite knows what he might say.documentaryjunkie wrote:traydeuce wrote:Whoa, RAing for a senile Civ Pro professor isn't a solid soft? You could write an amazing essay about your sartorial choices..... no seriously, Mr. luthersloan, I predict that you, and I, will get into NYU, Columbia and Chicago and that we'll both get rejected at Harvard. Unless they love my write-on.
Thats funny, I predict you get in nowhere if your Profs heard down the grapevine what an _ _ _ you are and wrote LoRs accordingly.
But, all jokes aside - good luck all.

I know it's doom 'n gloom, but you did better than 4/5 people in your class. Even if your school's 80% employment stat is 50% bullshit, 20/40 is still a coin flip.dempsey wrote:or just poorly enough to not get a job ITE

Yin and Yang biatch.traydeuce wrote:Out of those three, Chicago. In all seriousness, I think that would suit you best, and besides, there's our classmate, who surely outweighs my obnoxiousness. On the other hand, supposing I made their write-on, you might just spontaneously combust from seeing my name on the masthead. It's a tough call. I think you should call the Chairman of our Transnational Institute in whatever malaria-infested country he's in currently and ask him what he thinks about it.luthersloan wrote:I agree, that is the most probable outcome. Just do drop a line to tell me which school you will be going to, before I have to make my decision.

Hrmmm... I'd think with these stats he/she/ze might have a decent shot at UM or CLS...thexfactor wrote:NU- depends on work exp. If no then NO

Mid T2, 3.8 gpa on a 3.0 curve, no class rank
GULC
Columbia
NYU
Penn
Anyone think no class rank is going to make transferring harder? Also, I just submitted my Columbia and Penn apps. Is there a chance the class will fill up before they get to my file?

I think CLS is incredibly unlikely, unless you're using "CLS" to mean something other than Columbia, in which case it's possible.D.Wilde wrote:Hrmmm... I'd think with these stats he/she/ze might have a decent shot at UM or CLS...sanpiero wrote:T40 T10% Law Review

Why did you not matriculate at any of those during 1L admissions? Did you, like, commit a string of felonies?b1ue wrote:T40, 4.1 , Top 2%
In at Berkeley....
H?
Y?
S?
Columbia?
Does UG 3.85/175 factor into any of this?
