So, I haven't done anything since the blue form...what will happen that will move me on to the next step? Anyone? I did get the thing in the mail saying my credit check was approved, etc. Does the school receiving that make something new happen?

Random roommate change via email yesterday!
I hope my old roommate didn't find my facebook, stalk me, then request a change haha.
Also, for those that are interested in either watching the season or who may have missed some episodes early, The Good Wife is re-running this summer on CBS. They re-aired the pilot last night (should be able to catch it online!)
Ahhh Loans.

Random change? Hmm, the person may have called and backed out of dorms altogether, it happened a lot last year according to the page I found. People signed up for the dorm lottery then went off campus.
I just need to deal with sending housing form, health insurance, and my shot record. And a final transcript when my degree is conferred.

Do you know if they posted the health insurance waiver form yet? I can't find it, but I don't want to be charged for their health insurance when I already have my own. And thanks for the reminder about that vaccination form, I need to get on that!Unitas wrote:The pilot is now on my DVR. re: immunizations
This may be an obvious question, but just so I am clear: for those of us over 26, who do not meet any of the conditions on the TB questionnaire...all we have to do is sign the form and send it back, correct?

yep. And that's 26 at time of registration (August 23). I was very thankful when I read that, as I am 26 next month.nowinGA wrote:re: immunizations

I'm getting an excellent lesson in "How NOT to Run a Law Firm" at this place where I'm working this summer!

I can't wait until August!!
When is everyone heading up there? I was thinking of going up earlier than the Gewirz move-in and staying at a hotel to have more time to look around the area.

I'm so excited that I'm having to force myself to enjoy the summer.starrydecisus wrote:I can't wait until August!!

I spent a lot of time in D.C. during ASW, so I'm only coming in one day before Gewirz move-in.
I'll be so disappointed if GULC/law school/D.C. isn't everything I'm hoping for!

Re: GULC c/o 2013
I'll need a ride up there, so most likely the day before move-in for me. Unless I end up keeping my car with me which I doubt I will. I'll have my nice lovely car sitting at my house down here for my first year being unused, yet still paying insurance and taxes. Fun...starrydecisus wrote:I can't wait until August!!

The Health Department told me the health Insurance waiver form won't be up until sometime in mid-July and we’d get some e-mails about it to the school e-mails.
This led me to call the admissions department and ask about our e-mail addresses. We should get information about e-mail addresses in July according to the admissions department. They were all very nice.
The pilot for The Good Wife was awesome. My only complaint would be how easy she changed the flow of that case, if only life were that easy.
Hope everyone is doing well.

I missed it, too, due to dumb circumstance. >:/stace83 wrote:Did anyone participate in the online meeting today about off campus housing? Did I miss anything?
If anybody here did get any information out of it, please let us know! It'd be of great help.

Glad you liked it! I loved that scene with the floating plastic bag though. Excellent. But it did change rather fast re: the dog hairs, especially since the judge sustained the revelance argument (which I disagreed with. That at least is true to life. haha)Unitas wrote: The pilot for The Good Wife was awesome. My only complaint would be how easy she changed the flow of that case, if only life were that easy.

You welcome both of you, however, I bet we'll get the e-mail before then. I think they tell people on the phone the last possible time you'll get it, so as not to disappoint.starrydecisus wrote:+1, especially about the email addresses! I'm not sure on the DVD! But since they're re-running the season, I'm going to record all the episodes with my DVD recorder to have my own season until the official one comes out =)volsi wrote:I'm signing a lease for August 1st and I'm going to spend three weeks going to museums, bars and baseball games before I settle in for the grind.starrydecisus wrote:I can't wait until August!!

+1 to Bones, House, and Law and Order(s)...and The Daily Show (of course). I also really had fun with White Collar, though it was brief (that is to say, they didn't give us very much!).Unitas wrote:My favorite TV shows:

Am I just too old to have anyone else appreciate Ally McBeal? Maybe I don't want the answer to that. I think all David Kelley dramas are stellar.

I watched Ally McBeal from the very beginning. Love it. I wanted to be Portia De Rossi. Sadly, I am short and brunette. And please, you are not too old. I was hanging out with an 80 year old last week. (She's awesome)nowinGA wrote:+1 to Bones, House, and Law and Order(s)...and The Daily Show (of course). + 1 on
Burn Notice. I've enjoyed House, but not on a regular basis. and I grew up on Law and Order. My favorites were the Angie Harmon years. Least favorite - that bland blonde lady.
also:
True Blood
What Not To Wear (makes me want to buy shoes)
Biggest Loser (makes me want to work out)
Community - the best thing on network tv besides the Good Wife. Watch the Paintball Episode and be blown away.
Chelsea Lately
Hoarders ( makes me want to clean)
Big Love (except for season 4)
Top Chef, Project Runway, any show that teaches me how to dress better
Stuff that's ended that I liked:
Six Feet Under
Daria (just got the DVD)
others, I am sure.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
