I remember watching it years ago. Reading the book makes me want to watch it again. The book is always better than the movie though.pelmen74 wrote:Anyone actually watch the movie "A Civil Action?" Is it any good?
Which mexican restaurant reedie? Don't forget to do your LARW assignment before class on Wednesday as well.

My blackboard claims that I'm not enrolled in any classes. And for Mexican, just that Taqueria La Vaquita. It was pretty good.Jericwithers wrote: Check your class syllabus on blackboard.

+1. We're both in section 2 so I don't think there's anything wrong. It doesn't look like a lot of professors use BB for course content, as there were only a few classes posted on there for fall 2010 semester. Four LARW sections were the only 1L courses listed on BB.Reedie wrote:My blackboard claims that I'm not enrolled in any classes. And for Mexican, just that Taqueria La Vaquita. Re: Duke Class of 2013
My LARW class was added later than others to blackboard, so I wouldn't worry about an assignment unless yours has been added.
Orientation starts with a registration & breakfast at 8am. Do we need to be there right at 8am or is it more 'stroll in and register before 8:50'? I don't think I would be able to stomach a danish at 8am; will that hurt my end-of-orientation evaluation?

What's the deal with lockers? Is a certain location better than the others? Are most of the lockers shared (that's what the site makes it look like)?

All lockers are equal. But some lockers are more equal than others.Chairman wrote:What's the deal with lockers? Is a certain location better than the others? Are most of the lockers shared (that's what the site makes it look like)?

I am interested in the answer as well. For now, I'd assume it doesn't matter.Chairman wrote:What's the deal with lockers? Is a certain location better than the others? Are most of the lockers shared (that's what the site makes it look like)?

Re: Duke Class of 2013
The issue seems to be that it's a year long. It should show as graded in the spring. My syllabus says it's graded, although only one graded assignment is due in the fall.DallasCowboy wrote:is writing not graded this year? ACES says it isn't.

I was going to answer all your questions. But then I remembered that I just got done driving 1800 miles in a day and a half. So I will get to them tomorrow.

'The Blue Lounge' is what the map says. No idea what/where that is though. Do you know where our individual drop folders are (somewhere on the bottom floor)?quakeroats wrote:lol. You must have signed up while I was clicking then. I accidentally double signed up, so I have a two person locker all to myself until someone goes in and fixes it.quakeroats wrote:lol. I have no idea on either point. If you go back to the locker signup you'll notice that some people have signed up for a triple locker three times.Jericwithers wrote:'The Blue Lounge' is what the map says. And the gunning begins, lol.
(One of our classmates called me and woke me up so we could share a locker, so I got mine already.)

Ya lol I thought the double/tripple locker signup was interesting as well (I'll be dropping my single if that strategy works). I had lockers #14 and then #1, but I dropped #14 once I got #1. Whoever <Redacted> is: You're Welcome.

I sure hope that strategy doesn't work. I'd hate to prevent someone from getting a locker.Jericwithers wrote:Ya lol I thought the double/tripple locker signup was interesting as well (I'll be dropping my single if that strategy works). They probably don't police it until someone needs a locker and can't get one.Reedie wrote:I sure hope that strategy doesn't work.
